Palestinians artists and occidental sympathisers have adopted the urban portion of the Israel security Fence as a jumbo billboard canvas despite divisions of consensus among the West Bank art community.The political aspect though toxic and flammable, does act as a framework for the artists to express themselves outside the limiting effect of a pressure sealed society from within and without. The fence paintings evoke Adam Smith’s invisible hand of capitalism co-oping and managing any social movement by pacifying the rough edges into a shiny marketable commodity.
