this notice is mostly for you tacoma people. i’m going to have a showing of my crappy poster work (maybe a few record covers, too) at the infamous FULCRUM gallery on K street (now ‘MLK’ st) in lovely downtown tacoma. there’s an opening reception on sept. 15th. i’ll be doing a slide show/talk there on oct 20th. then it closes forever on nov 17th.
i’ll also be displaying a few actual old timey MECHANICALS (the original production art) for several of my classic posters alongside the actual finish printed posters. that way you can maybe figure out how this stuff was made prior to computers.
---AC:by the way - if you can't find fulcrum gallery - it's that place in the middle of the block among all those empty storefronts.
by the way, lance kagey (of beautiful angle) and i printed this poster for my show on his letterpress proof press. lotsa fun and it turned out great. too bad everything caught on fire before we were able to post them. we were able to salvage a few of them for advertising purposes. i guess the whole city burned down, too.
oh, and stuff will be for sale, too. such is life…

AC: yeah, i read about the chelsea hotel closing down. are condos on the way? kinda makes you sick, like you wanna puke. we need to all master the art of projectile vomiting. then go visit those rich developers…. i just keep thinking about how great it would be to projectile vomit directly into donald trump’s smug oxy-laced smirking face….
