stain the pane

Have gotten strong positive feedback on American glass stain. New products in Deco-Art are something of a hit-and-miss story not without a few dogs and very hum-ho offerings. However, the glass stain can be dutifully recommended in all its glory. How good is it? You can call it a water-based version of Pebeo’s acrylic-solvent based Vitrail line. Deco-Art’s colors are rich and saturated and the expanded color range touches on most of the necessary shades. The 2 oz squeeze bottle is easy to use and the price is right for sure: A 45 ml Pebeo is a $6 offering while glass stain is 40% of the price for 60 ml.

Excellent product,. If it was marketed by a fine art company, it would be 2x the price...

The only hick here is the color fastness which is likely to be considerably less than Pebeo; not ideal to leave exposed to the sun. An equivalent product would be Gallery Glass form Plaid. But, Gallery Glass has not been updated since, since. The Cubs won the World Series? Badly in need of a revamp made clear with the Deco-Art glass stain. Like the Pebeo Vitrail, Glass Stain can be applied to canvas, and the results are almost as good.
