where rubber hits the road

Jesse Marinoff Reyes

Company propaganda tailored for public education. Absolutely anonymous but startlingly beautiful in its own way. Think about it, what separates this from a “gig poster” other than context? My guess is it was likely done by a staff designer who had been “doing” what we would call American Industrial design for some time (it’s not altogether different from work that would be done in 1942 nor 1954). This booklet-zine was printed on newsprint about 8 1/4″ X 10 1/4″ and 32 pages (including covers).
