i was trying to get several small labels to let me try to do a series of just black&white record covers like this. the idea was that it was really cheap and could become a brand thing. but, everybody figured nobody would buy them and the record stores wouldn’t display them and the distributors wouldn’t push them. so, this look died on the vine. i still have sweets dreams of just doing b&w lp covers like these.
