Le Big Bang. This weekend, March 2-3 Winsor & Newton canvas panels or boards will be the featured product at heart skipped several beats prices. That is, prices that are not for the faint of heart, or faint of art. Twelve sizes on sale ranging from 50 cents ( not the rapper) to $1.50. Starting at 8×8 inches up to 12×24 inches. They are well made, almost as good as the Fredrix, but at way more interesting prices.

However, we do find that the larger sizes such as 18×24 and 15×30 right up to 24×36 tend to warp, as if the machine is not calibrating the tension on these larger boards, using the same strategy as on the smaller ones. In any event, it’s only the smaller ones on sale and though its nothing to go gaga over, it’s still a hot deal…
